Native American Cultural Center

Mission

The Native American Cultural Center exists to provide academic support services and advocacy to Native American/American Indian students at Minot State University. The Native American Center also serves to provide awareness and sensitivity to "ethnicity" and "culture" through educational experiences, to students, faculty, staff and the surrounding communities.

Support services include (but are not limited to) individual counseling related to academic, career, financial and/or personal issues, study skills assistance, tutoring services, multicultural support services, career/job information and tribal/international liaison services. The center also provides technical/functional support through computer, printer, copy machine and internet access, as well as providing a location to study and relax and "bond" with peers.
