Local Transportation

Souris Basin Transportation is offering a new Saturday shopping shuttle service that will pick you up at the bus stop on University Avenue and 4th Street (near Lura Manor) and drop you off at the Mall and Walmart.

International students can get tokens from the Office of International Programs to ride the shopping shuttle for free! If you do not have a token you can still ride the shuttle by paying $2.50 to the bus driver, one-way (you must have exact change).

The shuttle will stop at the following locations and times, every Saturday:

Steps to use the Taxi Pass Program:

  1. Collect your taxi pass vouchers from the Office of International Programs during business hours (Mon - Fri, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm).
  2. Request a ride with Taxi 9000 at (701) 852-9000
  3. Give the driver the voucher and $5.00 cash.
  4. Show the driver your Minot State student ID card.
  5. Add $1.00 for each additional student.

Be aware that vouchers expire at the end of each month.
