Dr. Ringrose has been at MSU since 1995. He teaches a variety of classes on European history, France, social history, the history of technology, and imperialism. His areas of concentration include modern France and Germany, gender history, professionalization, elites, and problems in labor history. He currently is the chair of the Department of Humanities, Social Sciences, and Interdisciplinary Studies.
