B.A., University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire
M.A., Ph.D., Cornell University, 1987

In her thirty-five years at Minot State University, Dr. Andreasen taught United States history and specialized in twentieth-century U.S. history. Her research interests focused on social, cultural, and intellectual history and in particular on the history of education. In her time at Minot State, she was twice president of the Faculty Senate, coordinated the First Year Experience program in its early years, and supervised student teachers in history and social studies. She also was instrumental in the North Dakota Humanities Council and the North Dakota General Education Council.
