Reason for joining ambassadors: Being the face of MSU and working in the community as well as recruiting new students

Favorite place on campus: Wellness Center

Why I chose Minot State: The small campus makes it easy to meet new people and feel accepted

Erin Winterton - Vice President

Future career goals: High School Science Teacher

Favorite place on campus: Spending time in the lab

Interesting fact about yourself: Senior sprinter on the track team

Future career goals: Speech Language Pathologist in either a school or a hospital setting

Reason for joining ambassadors: I am a proud MSU international student and I love meeting new people

Favorite place on campus: Hang out in the Beaver Dam because it is a great place to student, meet new people, and attend MSU activities

Interesting fact about yourself: Two-time Canadian High School Rodeo Champion

Why I chose Minot State: Minot State University has endless opportunities to offer in terms of education and social activities. Everyone on campus becomes a familiar face.

Why I chose Minot State: The small campus size allows students to get involved on campus with many opportunities without feeling overwhelmed. Also, undergraduate research with faculty members is awesome at Minot State!

Reason for joining ambassadors: I wanted meet new people and share my story on why I choose Minot State 

Favorite place on campus: The Wellness Center and the Beaver Dam

Interesting fact about yourself: I started my own charity called Stosh’s Run to Riley where we fill the Ronald McDonalds house food pantry with non-perishable food items

Why I chose Minot State:  I choose Minot State because it was the best fit for me. I wanted to be treated more than a number to my professors, and here at Minot State the professors know your name and want to help you succeed towards your degree. Another reason I choose Minot State is for our Education program which is one of the best in the country. I’m on the wrestling team so by coming to Minot State gave the opportunity to work for my degree while being a student athlete

Why I chose Minot State: It feels like a second home. There’s many opportunities to get involved on campus and meet new people. Minot has great academic programs and because of its diversity I’ve learned a lot about different cultures

Future career goals: Complete my bachelors degree in Radiology and return home to care for the people of Hawai’i

Reason for joining ambassadors: Student Ambassadors made my transition to Minot State a lot easier being that I am so far from home. I would like to do the same for others

Interesting fact about yourself: I can speak fluent Hawaiian

Why I chose Minot State: I chose Minot State because I knew I wanted change. What’s better than moving 3,000 miles away from home? I’m so happy that I chose to attend Minot State University because this has been an experience that’s changed my life. The students here are extremely welcoming and kind, the professors want the best for you, and anything that you need to succeed is right at your fingertips
