Please check-in on the first floor of the Student Center at least 15 minutes prior to your first session to claim your free gift(s) and find your classroom!

This is the perfect time to see what life is like on the Minot State campus and to claim some swag! Students attending Be A Beaver Days will receive the following COMPLETELY FREE:

We will show you around the Minot State campus and answer any questions you have! An admission counselor will be available to meet with all students who tour campus to discuss admission requirements, financial aid opportunities, and more. We will work around your schedule to find a time to tour campus.
MEET WITH FACULTYRequest a meeting with a faculty member from your program(s) of interest to learn more about the department, degree requirements, and coursework. We will work with your schedule to find a time for you to meet.
CLIMB THE ROCK WALLSelect this session to climb our 35' tower that extends to all three floors of the Wellness Center. Attached by an archway to a nearby bouldering wall, the climbing structure offers over 2,000 sq. ft. of climbing surface, 800 hand holds, and a multitude of climbing routes for all levels. Rock wall sessions are offered on both days from 9 AM - 6 PM in the Wellness Center.
All climbers will be required to sign a waiver. Parent/guardian consent is required for all minors.
TIE DYECreate your own unique tie-dye shirt with current students from MSU Life, the club who plans on-campus student activities throughout the academic year. Tie dye is available to all attendees on both days from 11 AM - 1 PM in the Student Center.
ESPORTS LABHang out in our new Esports Lab between classes where you can chat and game with students from Minot State Esports. The Esports Lab is available to all attendees on both days from 9 AM - 4 PM in Hartnett Hall.
VISIT THE INSTRUCTIONAL AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY LABYou are invited to visit our Instructional and Communication Technology Lab within the Department of Education and Inclusive Services. This lab features different types of assistive technology to support academic learning, social-emotional and behavioral skills, functional skills, and communication. This hands-on, self-paced tour will allow you to try new things to help students reach their potential. We will work with your schedule to find a time between 9 AM and 3 PM for you to visit.
HOW TO FIND YOUR MAJOR WORKSHOPFeeling lost on how to declare your major? Confused about majors and careers and not sure what to do or who to talk to? Attend this workshop with Lynda Bertsch to develop an action plan to find a major that fits with your interests, abilities, and values. This workshop is offered on both days at 3 PM - 3:30 PM.
