Be a Beaver Days

Be a Beaver Days is Minot State YOUR way!

Create a schedule to fit your interests on one or both days. Choose as many sessions as you'd like from the list below to customize your unique Beaver experience.

Please check-in on the first floor of the Student Center at least 15 minutes prior to your first session to claim your free gift(s) and find your classroom!

This is the perfect time to see what life is like on the Minot State campus and to claim some swag! Students attending Be a Beaver Days will receive the following COMPLETELY FREE:

  • Backpack at check-in.
  • Minot State t-shirt to tie dye (available 11am-1pm).
  • All-you-can-eat lunch in the Beaver Creek Cafe.
  • Beaver sweatshirt at check-out.
  • Admission to one Beaver Athletics event on Oct. 17th or 18th. Choose from:
    • Women's Soccer @ Herb Parker Stadium
      • Minot State Beavers vs. Northern State University
      • Friday, Oct. 17 | 5:00pm
    • Men's Hockey @ Maysa Arena
      • Minot State Beavers vs. Maryville University
      • Friday, Oct. 17 | 7:30pm
      • Saturday, Oct. 18 | 7:30pm
    • Women's Volleyball @ Minot State Dome

Our tour guides will show you around the Minot State campus.

ADMISSIONS MEETINGS | Student Center, 8 AM - 4 PM
Discuss the application process and get your questions answered.

MEET WITH FACULTY | Various locations, Based on availability
Meeting with professors is a great way to learn more about degree programs and requirements.

ESPORTS | Hartnett Hall, 9 AM - 2 PM
Hang out in our Esports Lab to chat and game with students from Minot State Esports.

TIE DYE | Student Center, 11 AM - 1 PM
Create your own tie-dye shirt with students from MSU Life.

CLIMB THE ROCK WALL | Wellness Center, 1 - 6 PM
Our 35' tower extends to all three floors of the Wellness Center. Climbers are required to sign a waiver.

HOW TO FIND YOUR MAJOR WORKSHOP | Hartnett Hall, 3 - 3:30 PM
Develop a plan for finding a major that fits with your interests, abilities, and values.
NURSING DEPARTMENT TOURS | Memorial Hall, Times vary each day
Explore the facilities where our nursing students learn and practice their skills.
