The BEAVERS GIVE BACK campaign is a brand-new annual giving initiative that encourages employees of Minot State to make a gift to our university. These gifts stay at MSU and make a lasting impact on our campus. As a faculty or staff member, you support this university and our students through your contributions of time, talent, and expertise. To kick off the BEAVERS GIVE BACK campaign, we will be introducing some new incentives:
- Your name will be added to our Faculty and Staff Donor Roll and posted on the advancement website if you give to the campaign at any point during the academic year.
- Donors of $50 or more to the MSU Foundation by November 1, 2026, will receive the new BEAVERS GIVE BACK long-sleeved t-shirt.
- All faculty and staff who give any amount through November 1, 2026, will be entered into a weekly drawing for a door prize of MSU swag from the alumni office. Drawings will be held each Wednesday of the campaign and will begin on August 26, one week after the kick-off date on Convocation. Those who already have an existing payroll deduction will automatically be entered into the weekly drawing.
- If you increase your existing payroll deduction or start a new payroll deduction by November 1, 2026, you will receive the long-sleeved t-shirt and be entered into a grand prize drawing. Grand prize will include a parking pass for the 27-28 academic year, $100 gift card to the MSU Bookstore, and $50 gift card to Sodexo to use at the campus coffee shop and c-store.
- Offices and departments with 100% participation in the campaign by November 1, 2026, will receive an office pizza lunch, sponsored by the MSU Foundation.
How to Join BEAVERS GIVE BACK Campaign
Payroll Deduction
Give conveniently through ongoing payroll deduction by completing, printing, and returning the Faculty & Staff Giving brochure to the Foundation office.
Complete and submit the Faculty and Staff Giving brochure by campus mail to the Foundation office, located in Student Center 302.
Pledge
If you’d like to establish a gift over a specified amount of time, please contact Kate in the Foundation office.
Payroll deduction is easy!
Full-time, benefitted faculty and staff are eligible for payroll deduction.
Deductions are taken out of each paycheck until the gift amount is complete or until further notice.
There are 24 pay periods for 12-month employees and 18 pay periods for 9-month employees. Calculate your deduction by using the table below.
