Experiential learning involves learning by doing and is an integral way for students to gain insight in their career fields.
The Alumni Speaker Series will add value to our students’ academic studies by providing real-world learning as shared by our successful alumni. This also assists in identifying interdisciplinary skills gained from the classroom that are utilized and applied in their fields of study, inspiring and empowering them as they move through their university studies.
Offering our students opportunities characteristic of large universities will enhance their academic careers. The Alumni Speaker Series will bring talented and successful alumni leaders to your classroom to offer extensive expertise and valuable experiences to our students.
Please submit prospective alumni speakers from your respective area to Courtenay Brekhus at courtenay.brekhus@minotstateu.edu. The Advancement and Alumni Offices will consider all nominations and work with departments/divisions to determine funding sources.
