Registrar's Office

Many staff members in the Registrar's office worked together to get the degree posted for a student who was very frustrated, disgruntled, and not a pleasure to work with at the point in which they encountered her. When she came to our department for assistance, I was happy to be able to make one phone call to their office and then let her know that her degree had been posted and already mailed to her, and she didn't have to wait any longer. Several years of frustration for the student is now in the past because of the teamwork on the part of the registrar's office. Great job!!

Nursing Department

The Nursing faculty and students took up the challenge of doing the COVID testing and FLU shot clinics. They were present and accounted for at each clinic. They took suggestions and were able to calm nervous folks. WAY TO GO!

Whenever I need assistance they drop what they are doing to help. They work with you to educate or arrive at a solution for both sides. Thank you for all you do!

Sherie and Doug are top notch and do an excellent job of training and trouble shooting for both faculty and student issues. The spring and fall semesters of 2020 were rocky at times, but they smoothed the waters with tutorials, classes, emails and more in order to get everyone on board with Blackboard and using hyflex technology. They are quick to get back to you if you have an issue or question and they are always friendly. They work on the issue until they can give people an answer. A phone call or email is answered and they have positive attitudes even in these very stressful times of moving virtual or hyflex. I speak for many faculty in my department that they are what keeps us going many days!

This team of 3 is always willing and ready to help! They are always smiling and cheerful. With the recent and sudden change to handling student employment, they just took it in stride and moved forward. I know this added a lot of extra work to an already busy and stressful time. Their time did not go unnoticed. Their daily attitude does not go unnoticed. I appreciate a team that works together to make Minot State better!

My daughter and I received beading kits to complete over Thanksgiving weekend from the Native American Center. What an amazing project to promote cultural awareness during Covid! Hands-on projects like this create such deep memories and connections. Thank you!!
