Spring Online Course Schedule and Requirements
Class Dates:
- Regular Term: January 13 - May 16, 2025
- Eight Week 1: January 13 - March 6, 2025
- Eight Week 2: March 17 - May 8, 2025
It is your responsibility as an online student to have access to a computer, Internet Service Provider, and the appropriate software (if required) to complete your online course. Please refer to the Technical Requirements for specific computer requirements. It is important to note that you cannot successfully complete an online course using only an iPad, iPhone, Android device, or tablet even if you are using the mobile app. The mobile app will only allow you to perform certain functions NOT complete an entire course. Chromebooks are not supported.
If the course has any additional requirements such as software, these requirements are listed below. Courses will require a textbook except for those that specifically indicate that one is not required. Books can be purchased through the Online Bookstore.

Discounted software is available to MSU students through Journey Ed and the Microsoft Student Store. Office365 ProPlus is available through your campus email account.
ASC 93 Intermediate Algebra Class Number #23642(4 credits)
This course requires a significant weekly time commitment, with weekly assignments and discussions. Other requirements include course materials published by Hawkes Learning which can be purchased from the bookstore or the Hawkes website. Purchase includes lifetime access to the course. You do not need to purchase course materials if you purchased the ASC 92 Hawkes Learning course. This course requires proctored exams using Verity proctoring. For exams, a laptop with webcam, microphone, and Windows or Mac OS are required. Mobile devices and Chromebooks cannot be used. If you want to use other proctoring services, you must first inform the instructor. Proctors or proctoring services may incur additional costs. Students will work with the instructor to find and approve a proctor.
