
MSCOPE – The Minot State Club of Physical Educators is the majors club for physical education and corporate fitness and wellness majors. MSCOPE has been one of the most active majors clubs at MSU. The club provides community service to local schools in a variety of ways. The students involved raise funds to support certifications and training and travel to conferences. MSCOPE students often present at NDSHAPE and Central District SHAPE conferences. MSCOPE is a great way to grow professionally and personally while creating a network of relationships that are impactful for years to come.
STUDY ABROAD – The KIN department has offered a variety of study abroad experiences. Student teach at all-inclusive resorts in Jamaica, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic. Students have traveled to conferences in Thailand and Canada. There will be more study abroad opportunities in years to come!
Student Scholarships:
Minot State University offers numerous scholarships for full-time students (12 or more credits) based on academic achievement, financial need, character, citizenship, residency, and other criteria defined by donors.
Awards range from $50 to $5,000 annually. The application deadline is February 15, though applications are accepted through June 1 for any remaining funds.

Kinesiology Scholarship
- Endowed Scholarship for Physical Education, Corporate Fitness, & Athletic Training Majors: Awarded to juniors or seniors for academic achievement and professional involvement, based on faculty approval.
