Kelsey Higginson always liked helping others learn new things. She decided to combine that with her love of activity and the human body to become a physical education teacher. Kelsey spent one year as an English as a Foreign Language teacher in Kaohsiung, Taiwan working in a private high school. She also spent 6 years teaching and assisting with college level activity courses and physical education pedagogy courses at two different universities. Outside of school settings, Kelsey also spent several years teaching swimming lessons, designing and running a swimming lesson program, and being a USA swimming coach. Kelsey wants to help all physical education teachers continue to learn and improve their teaching. She is interested in continuing professional development for physical education and including social and emotional learning in physical education classes.
