Biomedical Science (BS)

The biomedical science program at Minot State University prepares you for a future in health care and medical research. Combining biology, chemistry, exercise science, and psychology, the program equips you with the knowledge and hands-on experience needed for graduate or professional school in medicine, dentistry, optometry, therapy, and more. Degree options:

  • Bachelor of Science with a major in Biomedical Science offers three tracks: 
    • Primary Healthcare is ideal for students pursuing healthcare professions, including pre-med, pre-dentistry, pre-veterinary, pre-pharmacy, and pre-optometry.
    • Research Professional is designed for those interested in scientific discovery and innovation.
    • Allied Health is for students pursuing chiropractic, occupational therapy, or physical therapy careers.
