Ralitsa began working at Minot State University as a mental health counselor in August 2024. As part of the MSU Counseling staff, Ralitsa provides individual counseling, outreach services, education, and referral assistance on MSU's campus.
Ralitsa has over 12 years of clinical mental health experience in university and community mental health settings. Throughout her career, she has provided direct care to patients presenting with an array of different needs and severity. She is a QPR certified instructor.
Utilizing a variety of modalities, Ralitsa aims to help her clients by providing a safe place for an open discussion on what holds one back and exploration of associated thoughts, feelings and behaviors. She likes helping clients find solutions, live by their values and resolve past or present personal and interpersonal conflicts. She is passionate about sports psychology and helping clients maximize their academic and athletic experience.
Originally from Bulgaria, Ralitsa is a former international student-athlete with a passion for sports, the outdoors, traveling, and spending time with her family.
