Kaitlyn Nieuwsma is a licensed social worker with over five years of experience in case management and community resource coordination. Since joining the Student Health Clinic and Counseling Center in September 2024, she is dedicated to empowering students in their personal and educational development. Kaitlyn provides psychoeducation, individualized case management, and connects students with essential community resources to support their growth.
She also plays a vital role in campus-wide initiatives that foster a positive and growth-oriented experience for students. Her work focuses on helping students build effective solutions and decision-making skills, promoting resilience and well-being.
Originally from North Dakota, Kaitlyn enjoys finding new books to read, savoring good coffee, traveling, and spending quality time with her family.
