The Office of Instructional Technology (OIT)

Welcome

The Office of Instructional Technology is opening a Transformation of e-Learning Initiative (TELI) for online faculty, adjunct, and interested staff. Its proposed mission is: To bring a diverse group of educators and e-learning advocates together to discuss the most pressing issues facing the e-learning environment at Minot State University with the objective of:

  • improving the teaching and learning experience
  • improving the learning management system (Bb)
  • improving faculty development
  • improving available technologies

Initiative communications will be 100% online via a Blackboard shell (among other online tools) and open 24/7 for faculty worldwide. If you are interested in joining the TELI, contact Tim for more information or access to get started.

A student equivalent (TELIS) has also been opened and is currently recruiting online students. If you are interested in joining the TELIS, contact Tim for more information or access to get started.

Global Symbol for Accessibility  You can find the Offices of Instructional Technology in the Administrative Building, room 368 and 356.

  Access can be gained by the elevator on the east of the building. The technology training center (sandbox), media lab, and technology loan area in Admin, are in room 356. Faculty and student walk-ins are welcomed. Offices are weelchair accessible.
