Partnerships
Goal 5 - Foster and grow collaborative partnerships locally, regionally, nationally, and globally.
Objective 1:
Orchestrate collaborative efforts with P-12 partners and other institutions of higher education.
Action Items:
- Evaluate current procedure for partnership tracking, development and renewal, and coordination of agreements.
- Review all existing partnership agreements.
- Develop strategic direction for current and future P-12 partnerships and higher education partnerships.
- Enhance collaboration among NDUS institutions.
Objective 2:
Cultivate and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with local, regional, national, global communities, organizations, and partners.
Action Items:
- Review all existing partnership agreements.
- Develop strategic direction for current and future local, regional, national, and global partnerships with industries and other organizations.
- Enhance partnerships with the MAFB.
Objective 3:
Leverage the expertise of individuals, groups, and organizations within the community to enhance learning and to strengthen university operations.
Action Items:
- Enhance MSU alumni relationships to promote their sharing of professional experiences.
- Extend relationships between MSU and the Minot community to encourage community individuals and groups to participate in academic activities.
- Establish a learning in retirement program.
Evidence
- Number of collaborative students by provider institution
- Minot State University and the University of Lodz, Poland, entered a cooperation between MSU's Master of Science in Management degree program and UL's MBA program delivered by its Polish-American Management Center. The two universities signed a Memorandum of Understanding Sept. 23, 2016 forming the basis for the partnership between the universities.
