TEU Program & Policies Committee

The Program & Policies (P&P) Committee monitors the operation and scope of the Teacher Education Unit (TEU), and recommends policies and procedures on teacher education issues to the Teach Education Administrative Council (TEAC). All recommendations made by P&P must be approved by TEAC.

Committee Composition
P&P is composed of the following members:

  • Co-chairs: Chair, Department of Teacher Education and Kinesiology & elected representative from a secondary or K-12 Teacher Education program
  • The Director of Advisement and Field Placement
  • To be eligible to serve on the P & P committee, that faculty must have teaching responsiblity for Teacher Education coursework and/or supervisory responsibility for the student teachers. Faculty respresentatives are selected by and serve at the directrion of their representative deaprtments/divisions.  
  • Graduate program directors and/or their representatives are invited to attend at least one meeting each semester to discuss graduate program policies.
