Dr. Mitchell Gresham

Assistant Professor

Dr. Gresham started his career at Minot State University in 2020. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Criminal Justice from Minnesota State University Moorhead and a Master of Arts in Sociology and a Ph.D. in Sociology from Bowling Green State University.

His research areas are pre-trial incarceration, incarceration, reentry from prison, parole, criminology, and handgun ownership. He has presented his research at national conferences and his work on handgun ownership has been published in Crime and Delinquency. His favorite subjects to teach are any aspect of corrections, reentry from prison, and research methods.
