Financial Obligation Agreement
A Financial Obligation Agreement (FOA) in Campus Connection requires students who register for classes to acknowledge by clicking on an "Agree" button once per term that they understand enrolling in classes results in a financial obligation. The FOA service indicator (also known as a hold) will be automatically removed once the student accepts the FOA for that term. A 'How To' video is available for the FOA acceptance process.
Class Drop Recording Process
A "W" will be recorded on your official transcript for dropped classes after the 7th class day of semester classes and the 4th class day of summer and eight-week classes (100% drop date, which is also the last day to add).
Please know that you will still be able to drop yourself from a class via Campus Connection up until the 42nd day of the term for semester classes and the 21st day of the term for summer or eight-week classes. However, a W will appear on your official transcript if a class is dropped after the 100% drop date. Check the MSU calendar for specific dates!
