There are many athletes recruited to play in various sports at universities, but for every student recruited, there are dozens of students who like playing sports but may not want the added pressure or responsibility of playing varsity sports. Intramurals gives all MSU students the opportunity to compete in a variety of sports without the added pressure of competing at varsity level.
MSU Intramurals is required to have at least three leagues which could include volleyball, flag football, basketball, tennis and bowling. It is also required that two tournaments are hosted each semester which could include softball, dodge ball or billiards.
If you are interested in participating in intramurals or have any questions or suggestions, please stop by the Student Government Association office located in the Beaver Dam, 2nd floor, Student Center, and see one of the Directors of Intramurals.
