Student Government Association

Welcome!

Welcome to the Minot State University Student Government Association (SGA) website! Please explore our site to learn about all that SGA offers Minot State University students.

The mission of SGA is to promote the general welfare of the students, increase student involvement within the university, and provide an official voice through which student opinion may be expressed. It is the responsibility of SGA to foster communication between the students, staff, and administration of Minot State University.

As your representative group on campus, SGA works for you - the student - to make MSU a better place to live, work, and learn. Our SGA is committed to providing an official voice through which the student voice may be expressed. It is the responsibility of our organization to foster communication between the students, faculty, staff, and administration of Minot State University.

Check out our Senate’s profiles to learn who your representatives are on campus. The Student Savings Club offers a list of all the exclusive discounts offered to MSU students. Plus, important information about Clubs & Student Organizations can also be found on our website.

We’re always looking for ways to be more effective, and make an even bigger difference in the lives of students, so don’t hesitate to give us feedback, get involved, or add your voice to the conversation.

Our organization meets bi-monthly at 7 pm in the Westlie Room, third floor of the Student Center. All students, faculty, and staff are welcome to attend but guests are encouraged to contact the Senate prior to meetings to appear on the agenda.

Please stop by the Student Government office located on the second floor of the Student Center to talk to one of our senators. I personally look forward to seeing you on campus. Go Beavers!
