NDASP's History & Goals
NDASP's purpose is to secure the conditions necessary and use the standards of the profession to promote educationally
and psychologically healthy environments for all children. We believe
- All children have value and the potential to learn provided they are given appropriate opportunities.
- School psychological services must be available for all ND children.
- School psychologists promote best practices, professional standards and ethics, the team process, and the interests of
NDASP members.
- Diversity is recognized as a strength and school psychologists will promote respect for differences.
To accomplish our stated purpose we have created the NDASP Mission Statement
- Children First
- Integrity
- Respect and Empathy
- Optimism
- Comprehensive services
