2012 Exemplary Learning Management System (LMS) Use Award Winners
The purpose of the Exemplary Use of the LMS Award is threefold. First, the Online Studies Committee and the Center for Extended Learning wishes to recognize faculty members who have achieved excellence in online course design and course management at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Secondly, the award recognizes faculty members who have demonstrated excellence in the use of LMS technology to supplement teaching in their face to face classes. Lastly, award winners serve as a vital resource, providing other faculty members examples of online best practices, engagement, interaction, and collaboration.
Nominations for the Exemplary Learning Management System Use Award are solicited in the fall semester with recognition awarded in the spring. Award winners receive a $500 stipend and a plaque.
