This writing conference focuses on ideas that can be inspired by a group read. These two days will center on methods of writing about reading, using Larry Watson’s novel Montana 1948 as an example.

All registrants will receive a copy of the book in their packet and will gain more from the mini-institute’s varied sessions by having the novel read prior to the conference.
