Position: Facilities Administrative Services Clerk

Salary: $12.50 per hour
Position Description: Reporting to the Facilities Administrative Services Supervisor, the position provides services for mail (both on and off campus), shipping/receiving, parking permits and passes, and reception at the primary visitorís entrance to campus. Primary duties include:
- Receives/Ships packages via FedEx, UPS, U.S Mail, and other couriers; may assist with delivery
- Operation of mail processing equipment (postage meter machine, paper folding machine, envelope processing machine)
- Sale of US Post Office mail services and stamps and accounting for daily financial transactions
- Assist campus offices with bulk mailing needs and services
- Issues parking permits and passes; assists with refunds and appeals
- Provide fax and copier services
Selection Criteria: Requires the completion of high school or equivalent. Prefer knowledge and/or experience with rules/regulations/processes of the US Postal Service, FedEx, or UPS. Must be a competent user of personal computers and standard office software. Requires excellent oral and interpersonal communication skills. Must demonstrate the ability to deal effectively and interact positively with various types of people. Must be able to operate standard office equipment (copier, telephone, fax, etc.)
