Dr. Raymond D. Screws

Visiting Assistant Professor (2011-2012, 2012-2013)

Dr. Screws completed his two-year visiting appointment in spring 2013 and was an invited guest lecturer in fall 2013 for MSU's Centennial Symposium.

(B.A., College of the Ozarks; M.A., Pittsburg State University; Ph.D. University of Nebraska, 2003) Dr. Screws specializes in Late 19th and 20th century American Social History, the American West, and Public History. His teaching and research interests include immigration and ethnicity, race, community history, and public history. He also has an interest in environmental history.
