With the kind of credentials
Casey Gleich brought to Minot State University golf, good things
were expected. But even Gleich, a freshman from Bismarck, is a little
surprised with just how quickly he has made an impact.
MSU
TAKES HOME TWO TITLES
Minot State University's
men's golf team had three players at par or better during a stellar

LOFTY GOALS
The individual success
of Minot State University senior golfers Jordan Kelly, Justin Aberle
and Whitney Stanley can not be denied. Kelly has been the
Dakota Athletic Conference's Most Valuable Player for three-straight
years, Aberle has garnered All-DAC honors the past two seasons and
Stanley has been a two-time All-DAC player as well as the MVP.
But for the trio to go down as the best class in school history,
one more elusive goal remains - the NAIA national tournament.

College. Head MSU Golf Coach Chipper Farrell said “Michael
is intelligent, hard working and very competitive. He will become
a leader on our team.”
Hysuik comes from Estevan, SK. He was the Zone 1 champion in the

Columbia. Hernandez has several tournament titles to his credit
including a first place finish in the BCGA Zone 4 Junior Divot.
Hernanzez joins his brother Marion who played this Spring at Minot

The Minot State University Men’s Golf program announces that

STANLEY
BREAKS THROUGH

Whitney Stanley's list
of accomplishments in her first two seasons on the Minot State University
golf team were impressive - but incomplete. The Sherwood native
earned Dakota Athletic Conference MVP honors as a sophomore despite
never finishing better than second place in any tournament.
Monday, Stanley was able to check one more feat off her golfing
to-do list.
MINOT
STATE GOLFERS LEAD AFTER DAY ONE

Justin Aberle was disgusted
as he walked off the sixth green Sunday at Souris Valley Golf Course.
Even with a nearly 30 mile per hour wind at his back, the
Minot State University junior had just carded a bogey on the par-5
considered to be a good birdie opportunity for most college golfers
of his ability. It didn't take long for Aberle to move from
disgust to disbelief.

The Minot State University
head golf coach Chipper Farrell learned that now senior Carter Hilkewich
was transferring from Dickinson State, he knew he was getting a
solid player. What he may not have known was that he was going to
obtain two quality golfers.

MSU
MEN RIGHT SHIP, BUILD LEAD
The Minot State University
men's golf team didn't shoot its best scores over the past two days,
but the Beavers did accomplish two big things. First, MSU won the
Jamestown Invite at the Jamestown Country Club with a 618 two-day

Conference race as South Dakota Mines clipped Dickinson State for
second. Minot State and the Blue Hawks were tied for first entering

MSU's
STRUGGLES AT DSU CONTINUE
A day after putting themselves
