The North Dakota Academy of Science is
holding its annual meeting at Minot State University

This year’s meeting of the North Dakota Academy of Science is being held Friday, April 23 on the campus of Minot State University.
The North Dakota Academy of Science has been an important part of a vibrant, statewide research community since 1958. The annual meeting is great opportunity to connect with your fellow investigators from around the state, forge new collaborations and friendships, recruit new graduate students and for your students to share their research in a professional setting.
The Academy welcomes the presentation of papers from all scientific disciplines. Papers by undergraduate students, graduate students and faculty will be delivered as oral presentations as are no poster sessions as part of the NDAS annual meeting. All student presentations are automatically considered for the A. Rodger Denison Research Competition. Abstracts of all papers will published in the Proceedings of the North Dakota Academy of Science. The deadline for submission of abstracts is March 19th. You will find attached a copy of the guidelines for submission of abstracts. Abstracts may be submitted to abstracts@ndacadsci.org.
This year’s NDAS Banquet and A. Rodger Denison Award Presentation will be held at the Carnegie Center with catering by the Alaska Alderwood Grill. Dr. Lin Chao, Professor in the Department of Ecology, Behavior and Evolution, at the University of California, San Diego will be speaking on the evolution of sex.
