Justin Anderson is the Facilities and Events Manager for the Department of Fine and Performing Arts. Born and raised in the Minot area, Justin graduated from Minot State University with a BA in Communication Arts with a dual emphasis in Theatre and Speech. He and his wife spent 11 years living out of state as they pursued graduate degrees and careers, and Justin received his Masters in Theatre History and Criticism from Illinois State University.
With a passion for the arts, Justin has been an adjunct instructor of speech, theatre, and humanities in three different states, been an actor, director, and tech assistant for multiple theatres, has sang with choirs in Italy and Spain, and has spent many years working closely with nonprofit arts organizations in Minot and across North Dakota.
When he’s not busy with MSU’s amazing performance spaces, Justin can be found acting and directing for Mouse River Players Community Theatre, attending local arts events and activities, and spending time with his wife and two children, even occasionally sharing the stage with them.
