As a professor of mathematics, Dr. Chu has taught a wide variety of math classes, most at the undergraduate and master level. Courses taught include calculus, differential equations, linear algebra, real analysis, complex analysis, symbolic logic, college algebra, abstract algebra, number theory, math proof methods, and problem solving. He has served on many university committees at Minot State and has served as a student advisor. In addition to his work at Minot State, he has published and presented at least seven research papers in international, national, and north sectional math journals and conference meetings. He has also reviewed textbooks for Prentice Hall, Brooks Cole, and Addison Wesley publishing companies.
