As assistant professor at Minot State, Dr. Bishnu Sedai teaches a wide variety of classes ranging from college and linear algebra to upper-level undergraduate mathematics, including complex analysis and directed research in math.

Dr. Sedai has a long history of teaching at institutions in both the U.S. and Nepal. His teaching experience started at a secondary school in Kathmandu, Nepal, where he taught arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and statistics, before becoming a lecturer at Lalitpur College in the capital city. In the U.S., Sedai began working as a teaching assistant before moving into instructor and assistant professor roles.

Sedai is interested in functional analysis, operator theory, and math education research and has presented a variety of seminar and educational talks. He is a member of the American Mathematical Society.
