For step-by-step instructions, choose the apps you want to set up on iOS:

  • Sign in with: NDUS.Identifier@ndus.edu (ex: jane.doe@ndus.edu)
  • Password: Same password as used for Blackboard and Campus Connection.

Go into your device settings, then into your wi-fi networks, choose the MSU network. It will pop up a connect window, here are the required settings:

  1.  
    • Username: Your campus connection login id (example: john.d.doe)
    • Password: Your campus connection password
    • Tap Join.
    • If your login is successful you will be taken to a certificate window.
    • Tap Accept.

Go into your device settings, then into your wi-fi networks, choose the MSU network. It will pop up a connect window, here are the required settings (you may need to select "Advanced"):

    • EAP method: PEAP
    • Phase 2 authentication: MSCHAPv2
    • Client certificate: N/A
    • Identity: Your campus connection login id (Example: john.d.doe)
    • Anonymous Idendifier: Leave this field blank
    • Wireless Password: Your campus connection password
    • Tap Connect.

 

 

The preferred mobile client is Outlook Mobile.
It is available for Apple IOS and Google Android .

 

 

 

 

Android users must use Outlook Mobile.

Apple Mail - IOS 11 or newer:

Account type: Exchange (Office 365)

Username: firstname.lastname@ndus.edu
(Replace firstname.lastname with your campus connection username)

Password: Your Campus Connection Password.

Encrypted connections (Preferred as it is more secure)

  • MSU - Used for all Minot State University staff, faculty and students. This wireless network is located across the entire campus. Users login with their campus connection credentials. (For Android devices be sure to set "EAP method" to PEAP the "Phase 2 authentication" to MSCHAPV2)

  • eduroam- EDUROAM (education roaming) is a secured wireless network service that allows students, staff, and faculty to use their home institution's wireless credentials to access wireless network services, when visiting other EDUROAM participating institutions, without having to set up a guest account.

    To get connected login with your campus connection userID + @ndus.edu (Example: student.name@ndus.edu) and your campus password. You may receive a warning about a certificate, choose connect anyways as it cannot verify until an internet connection is available. (For Android devices be sure to set "EAP method" to PEAP and the "Phase 2 authentication" to MSCHAPV2)


    If you have problems you may bring your device to Old Main 108 for setup.  

Unencrypted connections 

  • Guest@MSU - Used for temporary access for campus visitors. This wireless network is located across the entire campus. Guests will need a pass to connect to this network. Please visit your sponsoring department to request access.
  • GameConsole - Used for XBOX, Playstation, Chromecast, Roku, Wii , Blu-Ray Players, etc.. This wireless network is located in the campus dormitory's. Please visit https://connect.minotstateu.edu/enroll/MinotStateUniversity/onboard/reset to register your device.

 

Use the instructions below to remove an Exchange account on iOS, Android, Apple Mail & Calendar.

iOS

Use the instructions below to remove an Exchange account on your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad. These steps apply to devices running iOS 5.5 or above.

  1. Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars. The Accounts screen will open.
  2. On the Accounts screen, tap the Exchange Account you want to remove. 
  3. Scroll down and click Delete Account. A Delete Account warning window will open.
  4. On the Delete Account warning window, click Delete Account to finish. You have successfully deleted your Exchange account.

Android

Use the instructions below to remove an Exchange account on your Android device. These steps apply to devices running Android 2.2 or above.

Note: Each Android version might be slightly different and it is likely that the Exchange account will show up as a Corporate Account.

  1. Go to Applications > Email. The Email screen will open.
  2. On the Email screen, bring up the settings menu and tap Accounts. The Accounts screen will open.
  3. Press and hold the Exchange Account you want to delete until the Menu window opens.
  4. On the Menu window, click Remove Account. A Remove Account warning window will open.
  5. On the Remove Account warning window, tap OK or Remove Account to finish. You have successfully deleted your Exchange account.

Apple Mail

Use the instructions below to remove an Exchange account in Apple Mail.

  1. Open Apple Mail.
  2. Click Mail on the top menu bar and then Preferences. The Preferences window will open.
  3. In the Preferences window, click Accounts. The Accounts window will open.
  4. In the Accounts window, click the Exchange Account you want to delete, then click the minus sign (-). A Removewarning window will open.
  5. In the Remove warning window, click Remove or OK to finish. You have successfully deleted your Exchange account.

Apple Calendar

Use the instructions below to remove an Exchange account in Apple Calendar.

  1. Open Apple Calendar.
  2. Click Calendar on the top menu bar and then Preferences. The Preferences window will open.
  3. In the Preferences window, click Accounts. The Accounts window will open.
  4. In the Accounts window, click the Exchange Account you want to delete, then click the minus sign (-) below. A Remove warning window will open.
  5. In the Remove warning window, click Remove to finish. You have successfully deleted your Exchange account.

Outlook 2011 (Mac)

Use the instructions below to remove an Exchange account in Outlook 2011.

  1. Open Outlook 2011.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Accounts. The Accounts window will open.
  3. In the Accounts window, click the Exchange Account you want to delete, then click the minus sign (-) below. A Delete warning window will open.
  4. In the Delete warning window, click Delete to finish. You have successfully deleted your Exchange account.
