Where to park and enter?
Guests are asked to park in the parking lot north of the Dome and enter at the north entrance. Graduates will be entering at the south entrance. Several handicapped parking spaces are located on the north side of the Dome. Elevator access is available in the north entrance of the Dome.

Where will graduates be seated?
The seating chart will be in the order of Graduate School, Honors Program, alphabetically by degree type, and finally the Dakota College at Bottineau graduates. View the seating chart and MSU Dome layout.

MSU staff and faculty will be on hand to assist the candidates for graduation in lining up.

Guest Information / Disability Accommodations
The Dome will be open as early as 8:30 am on Commencement day with the pre-commencement video show beginning at 9:15 and the ceremony starting at 10 a.m.

An interpreter will also be on hand on graduation day to sign the graduation ceremony to accommodate individuals with hearing impairments.

Arrangements can be made for persons with disabilities that need seating accommodations. Please contact the Registrar's Office prior to April 30, 2021, for assistance at 701-858-3345 or 1-800-777-0750 ext. 3345.

Diploma Frames
The MSU Barnes & Noble Bookstore team will be on-site to sell diploma frames and gifts at Commencement! Before the ceremony, they will have a table set up in the North lobby and after will have a table in the North and South lobby. The bookstore hours on May 13 are from 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Recessional
Graduates will leave the Dome floor in the same manner as they entered.

A safe Commencement celebration for the graduates and their families is Minot State University's first priority. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the campus. MSU is also a Tobacco-Free campus.

Lower Level Sections 1-16 and all sections in the Upper Level West Side are available for Commencement Seating.

Rows numbers are estimates.

Seating chart is organized in alphabetical order by degree and last name. Even row numbers line up, enter, and exit the dome floor on the East side. Odd row numbers line up, enter, and exit the dome floor on the West side. Seat numbers are ordered from West to East (i.e. seat #1 sits in the far West seat whereas seat #20 sits in the far East seat).
