Learn with Minot State
When you study journalism at Minot State University, you will gain multimedia experience across news platforms. From your first semester, you can write for the Minot State student newspaper, the Red & Green, which runs both print and online editions. Follow your passion by choosing your own beat or taking general
assignments. The Red & Green also employs student editors who work to shape the conversation on campus by being the voice of the students. 

The broadcasting program at Minot State combines coursework in communication, journalism, public relations, and production to diversify student experiences within and outside the classroom. Journalism students study ethical approaches to covering news in a deadline-driven environment emphasizing the editorial process.

Career opportunities
Journalists are an important and necessary part of every community. With strong backgrounds in research, writing, and analysis, journalists are employable across industries in a variety of career fields including pursuit of law school.

Faculty
