Can you help us identify financial aid and scholarship information?
The financial aid office has a website with very specific information. Remember that we do have scholarships with awards up to $14,000. Be sure to check out the application deadlines.

What services are available for my student if they need assistance with their studies?
The university provides several student services for your student. You’re invited to check out the office of the counseling center, career services, tutoring services, writing center, technology central and residence life.

Can you tell us about the safety of your campus?
Certainly! MSU is proud of its safety record. View our most recent Safety and Security Report.

What does my student do in the case of an illness?
Our student health center is exemplary in providing services for many medical conditions. Your student is paying for health services via their college fee so please take advantage of this campus service. If the need arises for more advanced physician services, the student health center will recommend a physician to your student.

Where do I find out what my student owes for tuition, room and board?
Your student will have his/her own portal called CampusConnection. Ask your student about accessing this state-of- the-art self-service system just for students. You can also review the information at the MSU Business Office website.

When and how do I pay?
Visit the student section of the MSU Business Office website to view all important tuition dates, along with the current tuition and fee costs. At the Web site you can also view the Tuition Payment Plan for students.

Does my student have an advisor?
Each student is assigned an academic advisor in their given academic area. They can also enroll in the Minot State University Mentoring Program.

Where will my student live and eat?
Minot State University has seven housing options for students. New freshmen students must now live on campus. This opportunity will encourage students to get involved in student organizations, intramurals and attend student events.
