Underwriters
Underwriting involves a sponsorship agreement between a business and the Professional Communication Department. In exchange for underwriting, businesses receive at least three mentions in all broadcast productions on KMSU Channel 19 TV and radio.
Throughout the semester, the department airs its live television program, MSU Inside/Out, each Thursday at 5:00 pm. The department also provides a tape delay of at least two Minot State University athletic events.
Each contribution is a tax-deductible donation. In return, underwriters receive:
- At least three mentions within two or more KMSU productions
- Two mentions per airing of MSU Inside/Out (a minimum of eight shows per semester aired at least twice each).
- Mentions at miscellaneous events (KMSU Auction, dances, sporting events, open houses, etc.).
- One radio mention each hour of the day
In all, a business will receive more than 50 mentions throughout the semester. You can become an underwriter by making a minimal donation. Please contact the Professional Communication Department for more information: 701-858-3175.
