Kara Schumacher , a former Kenmare High School volleyball standout, transferred to Minot State after two successful years at Williston State College. Schumacher led the Tetons to a National Tournament appearance in 2006 and a 2 nd place finish at Regionals in 2007. Schumacher was awarded the MonDak All Conference Team both years at Williston State College. Schumacher is a very dynamic player with solid passing and hitting skills. Schumacher also is very team orientated and very coachable athlete. Schumacher plays with lots of intensity and desire, and will hopefully be the sparkplug for the Beavers.
