Al Cassell Relays

The MSU Women's Track and Field team had a very successful day at the Al Cassell Relay Meet in Jamestown . The Beavers had a variety of athletes putting numbers on the board for MSU.

Amanda Warnett has been showing great progress with every passing track meet. She improved her time and finished second in the 200 with a time of 27.11, she also had a third place finish in the 400 M Dash. Fern Parker also added some points for the Beavers in the 200 with a time of 29.58. Samantha Rogers ran the 800 in 2:37.58, which was good enough for third place.

  In the field events, Alissa Klose leaped a distance of 34'10 ½” in the triple jump for a 2 nd place finish and Jill Lockie placed 3 rd in the high jump. Casey Seltvedt threw an impressive 122'9” in the Discus and Julia Williams tossed the Hammer 139'9.”

  On the men's side, the Beaver's 4x100 Relay place 2 nd with a time of 44.02. Josh Ming won the Javelin with a throw of 190'3.” The Beavers took the fourth, fifth and sixth place finishes in long jump; Julius Ceasar, Eric Sheppard and Ulysses Dalton II respectively.

The Beaver's are now gearing up for the DAC Championship to be held in Jamestown on May 2 nd . The National Outdoor Meet will be May 22-24 th in St. Louis , MO.
