Bree Bartholomew

 

 

 

Bree Bartholomew has signed a letter of intent to play softball next year for the Minot State Lady Beavers. Bree is a pitcher who currently plays for Liberty High School in Renton , WA where she was 10-2 last year with a 0.92 ERA for the Patriots as a junior.

 

"I'm really happy that Bree has chosen to join us at Minot State," said Coach Triplett. "She is a great student, a great pitcher and a very nice person. She will fit right in here!"

Kyla Thiesen

 

 

 

Kyla Thiesen of Brandon, Manitoba has made the decision to attend Minot State and play softball for the beavers. Thiesen, a second baseman/shortstop with excellent speed, was selected to play for the Manitoba Provincial All Star Team as well as the Midget All-Star Games in Winnipeg last summer.

 

"Kyla is an big sign for us", stated Bill Triplett, head coach for the Beavers. "She has excellent speed and can play shortstop or second base.

Deanna Mitchell

 

Deanna Mitchell of Portage la Prairie, Manitoba has signed a letter of intent to play softball next year at Minot State University. Deanna is a pitcher and has hurled in three national championships as well as having been selected as the MVP of her high school team the last two seasons. Deanna is a sister of current Lady Beaver standout Kayla Mitchell.

 

"Our future got a lot brighter when Deanna signed", said Coach Triplett. With Bree and Deanna, we should be in good shape in the pitching department for years to come."

Lindsey Landles has signed a ltter of intent to join the MInot State Beaver softball team next year. Currently, Landles plays for Three Rivers Community College in Pine Bluff, Missouri. Landles is and all-conference and all-region performer for the Lady Raiders. During the summer, the Winnpeg native catches for the Winnipeg Lighting.

 

"I'm really happy to have a player of Lindsey's caliber coming to Minot State", said coach Triplett. She can play second, 3rd, or catch and is a great hitter. She should fit right in."
