Minot State University Faculty Survey
Greetings Minot State University Faculty!
Thank you for taking part in this survey to examine the state of the faculty at Minot State University. As the Vice-President of Faculty Senate it is my responsibility to survey the faculty, compile the results, and present the state of the faculty during the fall convocation.
This survey will provide information to the members of the MSU Faculty Senate. The Faculty Senate regards this survey as a serious indicator of the views and desires of the people we represent. Substantial revisions were made to the survey by an ad hoc Senate committee. The revisions were presented and approved by the Senate.
Your participation is greatly appreciated. Since the validity of the results depend on obtaining a high response rate, your participation is crucial to the success of this survey. The survey will take approximately 30 minutes to complete.
The survey will be completed using an online surveyor. Information Technology Central (ITC) at MSU is a subscriber of VoVici, the tool which will be used to administer the survey and compile the results. VoVici hosts the server on which the data is collected. The survey will have an appearance similar to that of the MSU website; VoVici enables subscribers to place their brand on the instrument. Accommodations will be made for participants desiring to complete the survey in a written format. To complete the written version, please contact the survey technical administrator, Anton Huether at 858-4444 or anton.huether@minotstateu.edu.
Your submission of the survey indicates your consent to participate. Please be assured that your responses will be held in the strictest confidence and stored on the VoVici server, not on the campus of MSU. The results of this survey will be made available in conjunction with the Faculty Senate meeting minutes following the first meeting of the fall 2008 semester. The Faculty Senate reserves the right to exclude identifying information from the survey results.
