Rural Crime and Justice Center

Organizational Structure

The Rural Crime and Justice Center consists of an Executive Director, an Associate Director, a research science group comprised of senior faculty members, a Planning and Procurement Task Force, and three divisions.

The Planning and Procurement Task Force develops, implements and continuously assesses the mission of RCJC. In addition, the Planning & Procurement Task Force is responsible for the development of RCJC’s strategic planning process, the monitoring of grant solicitations that benchmark RCJC’s mission and capabilities, the coordination of grant applications for submission and possible funding, and the creation of partnerships with agencies that enhance RCJC’s mission.

The three divisions include Research and Evaluation, Training, and Business Administration.

The Research and Evaluation Division provides resources for nationwide surveys. The division is responsible for all aspects of survey needs from the development, to the solitication, to the data analysis.

The Training Division develops and delivers a methamphetamine public awareness/ education campaign to children, schools, teachers, parents and communities within North Dakota. The division assists with the development of research projects aimed at understanding the various facets of methamphetamine usages and its impact on families, communities, businesses and the criminal justice system.

The Business Administration Division consists of a business manager, an administrative assistant for finance, and an administrative assistant for operations.
