Great place to start, great place to stay
When I picked Minot State I really didn’t know what I wanted to do, but I liked the campus and I liked Minot in general. So, I decided to start here and I ended up staying here. Because of my interests, I chose to study German and sociology.
Right now I’m doing a six-month internship in Senator Kent Conrad and Senator Byron Dorgan’s Minot office. One of the things I do is take calls and letters from constituents and try to help them resolve problems. Sometimes they write letters or stop by and say, "Thank you. Your help meant the world to us." I like being part of that. After I graduate, I hope to get an internship in Washington, D.C.
