United Negro College Fund (UNCF) Scholarship
The Program Services Department administers various scholarship programs. Each program has its own eligibility criteria, open/close dates and required documents. In order to apply for a UNCF Program Services Scholarship, you must apply through the online application process. The below is the list of all programs currently accepting applications.

Thurgood Marshall College Fund
This free scholarship search, geared for African-American students, contains more than 300 scholarships searchable by GPA requirement, academic and career interest, and application deadline.

NAACP Scholarship Search
The overall goal of the NAACP National Education Department is to ensure that all students have access to an equal and high-quality public education by eliminating all education related racial and ethnic disparities. Native American Scholarships
These scholarships are available specifically for Native American students. Students should be encouraged to apply to ALL sources of financial aid for which they are eligible. Other scholarships may be available once students are enrolled in a college, students should contact their college financial aid counselor or check with the American Indian Graduate Center

Hispanic Heritage Youth Awards
The Hispanic Heritage Youth Awards run annually from March through January and honor young Latino leaders with grants for their college education or to fund a community service effort the student will plan, oversee and sustain.

Girls Going Places Entrepreneurship Scholarship
This annual Guardian's initiative is designed to reward the enterprising spirits of girls ages 12 to 18 -. Guardian awards prizes to 15 girls who demonstrate budding entrepreneurship; are taking the first steps toward financial independence; and make a difference in their schools and communities. Every year, prizes totaling $30,000 are granted to three top winners and 12 finalists each year, to further their entrepreneurialpursuits or save for college

Students With Epilepsy Scholarships
Rather than being one disorder, epilepsy in a term used to describe several types of seizure disorders (almost two dozen). What we call seizures are changes in the functioning of the electrical system of the human brain. These changes are brief and temporary. The Whitney M. Young, Jr. Memorial Scholarship
Established in 1973, the League dedicates revenue from the annual Whitney M. Young, Jr. (WMY) Football Classic towards scholarship assistance for disadvantaged New York City students. The one-time scholarship payment of $3,500 for memorial awardees and $1,500 for incentive awardees.

Siemens Technology Program
The Siemens Competition in Math, Science & Technology recognizes remarkable talent early on, fostering individual growth for high school students who are willing to challenge themselves through science research. Through this competition, students have an opportunity to achieve national recognition for science research projects that they complete in high school. It is administered by The College Board and funded by the Siemens Foundation.

Disabled War Veterans Scholarships
The AFCEA Educational Foundation is pleased to announce the newly established Disabled War Veterans Scholarships of $2,500 each. The Scholarships are made possible by generous contributions from Microsoft employees with matching funds from Microsoft Corporation

National Elks
The Elks National Foundation provides more than $3.64 million in college scholarships each year through its three scholarship programs. The application process and deadlines vary for each program. All applications must go through a local Elks Lodge before reaching the Elks National Foundation office. Contact your high school counselor for more information or your local Elks Lodge.

Burger King Scholars
BK Scholars Program has awarded more than $14 million to high school seniors and employees across the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico and the program continues to grow. This year alone we awarded $1.2 million in scholarships

American Chemical Society Scholarships
The American Chemical Society sponsors scholarship programs for qualified applicants who want to enter the fields of chemistry, biochemistry, or chemical engineering, and students seeking a two-year degree in chemical technology. The programs are designed to encourage African-American, Hispanic, and American Indian students to pursue undergraduate college degrees in the chemical sciences and chemical technology.

Astronaut Scholarship Foundation
To date, the foundation has awarded $2.8 million in scholarships to 259 deserving students.

ELA Foundation Scholarships (disabled)
ELA Scholarships are available only to women graduate students with physical disabilities who are enrolled in an accredited college or university in the United States. These scholarships are awarded on an objective and nondiscriminatory basis.

Sammy Scholarships--Body by Milk
Each winner will receive a $7,500 college scholarship, appear in a special Milk Mustache ad in USA TODAY and attend a special awards weekend in Disney World in June where they’ll get to meet Milk Mustache celebs.

Martin Luther King Scholarships
Each year, a variety of educational, inspirational and celebratory events honor one of the nation's most revered civil rights leaders. The signature event, the annual Martin Luther King, Jr. March, is scheduled for Monday, January 18, 2010. The march will begin at 10 a.m. at the MLK Freedom Bridge located at 3500 MLK Drive and end at Pittman-Sullivan Park, 1101 Iowa (click this link for march route and info). Once again, it is expected to draw more than 100,000 adults and children. San Antonio hosts the largest march in the United States.

New York Women in Communications Foundation (Other States)
Each year, the Foundation - in conjunction with New York Women in Communications - awards scholarships to graduating high school seniors and undergraduate and graduate students who intend to pursue or further a career in communications.

Founded in 1981, the Asian American Journalists Association (AAJA) is a non-profit professional and educational organization with more than 2,000 members today. AAJA serves Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders by encouraging young people to consider journalism as a career, developing managers in the media industry, and promoting fair and accurate news coverage.

Past Presidents' Legacy Scholarships
The National Hydropower Association is pleased to announce that it will be accepting applications for the 2010 NHA Past Presidents' Legacy Scholarship the first week of January 2010. The $2,000 scholarship goes to promising young people who demonstrate the academic skills and commitment to help create the next generation of the hydropower industry.

Miss America Scholarships
The Miss America Organization is one of the nation's leading achievement programs and the world's largest provider of scholarship assistance for young women. Last year, the Miss America Organization and its state and local organizations made available more than $45 million in cash and scholarship assistance. This assistance is not just for the handful of young women who become Miss America, but is available to the over 12,000 young women who compete in the state and local competitions as well.

The National Society of High School Scholars
NSHSS members have the opportunity to compete for $5,000 scholarships to be awarded annually. All high school members are eligible, with the exception of relatives of NSHSS staff members and relatives of scholarship reviewers.

Family Dollar Scholarship

SEIU Lottery Scholarship Program
Unions help working families fulfill their dreams in many different ways. At SEIU, this includes yearly college scholarship opportunities. Through five different scholarship programs, SEIU awards 52 scholarships that enable SEIU members and their children to pursue their educational goals at accredited colleges, universities, and technical schools.
