Minot State University offers 60 undergraduate majors, small class sizes, affordable tuition, and a friendly-community atmosphere all with the big university feel. Our faculty and staff know students by their names and take the extra time to ensure students’ have a positive college experience. We offer flexibility by offering classes on campus, online, at Minot Air Force Base, and in Bismarck and Fargo. 

We offer students a multitude of ways to be active and engaged on campus. Hundreds of events take place each year for students to participate in, and our new wellness center offers extraordinary services. Leadership roles, volunteering and participation in over 50 student clubs and organizations also allow students to experience college life.

An orientation session for new transfer and first-year students is scheduled before fall classes begin on Aug. 21 (after 4 p.m. classes) and daytime classes beginning on Aug. 22. If you haven’t made application, go online to submit your application in order to be invited to the August 17 New Student Orientation session.
