PIO update

Welcome back to those who have been off-campus or otherwise busy this summer!

With new leadership at the helm of the Office of Public Information, Mark Lyman and his staff will be reviewing procedures and getting input from students, faculty, and staff as to what works best. PIO hopes to meet with many of you in smaller, feedback-friendly environments over the next couple of weeks to accomplish this goal.

Just a reminder about campus announcements, anything short of an emergency needs to be sent to Linda Benson, Mark Lyman or the public information e-mail account, publicinformation@minotstateu.edu, by 11 a.m. the day of, or even the day before you want the information out. It is not standard to issue separate campus-wide announcements in the afternoon that should be part of the midday Campus Announcements e-mail. When in doubt, get the information to us early, and we’ll include it in Campus Announcements when it is appropriate! Thanks for your efforts in making this process a smooth one.
