Partial Authorization

Minot State University has chosen not to seek authorization to offer field experience activities such as practicums, internships, or clinicals in the following states. The online programs that require field experience activities are: the Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Management, Bachelor of Science in Nursing for Registered Nurses, and Associate of Science Degree in Human Services with a major in Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities. If you choose the Certificate of Completion in Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities, you cannot take the practicum but must choose your coursework from the other options. Residents of these states should consult the program coordinator before applying to the program to see if alternative arrangements can be made. This decision does not affect citizens who are seeking enrollment in other degree/certificate programs or who may be taking an isolated course.
