Fall 2017 Online Course Schedule and Requirements

Class Dates:

  • Regular Term: August 21 - December 15, 2017
  • Eight Week 1: August 21 - October 12, 2017
  • Eight Week 2: October 16 - December 7, 2017

It is your responsibility as an online student to have access to a computer, Internet Service Provider, and the appropriate software (if required) to complete your online course. Please refer to the Technical Requirements for specific computer requirements. It is important to note that you cannot successfully complete an online course using only an iPad, iPhone, Android device, or tablet even if you are using the mobile app. The mobile app will only allow you to perform certain functions NOT complete an entire course.

If the course has any additional requirements such as software, these requirements are listed below. Courses will require a textbook except for those that specifically indicate that one is not required. Books can be purchased through the Online Bookstore.

This list is not exhaustive. Check with your instructor and/or course syllabus once your course has started for a complete listing of requirements.

This list does NOT include a listing of prerequisites. For a listing of prerequisites, please consult the Undergrad Catalog or the Graduate Catalog.

Discounted software is available to MSU students through Journey Ed and the Microsoft Student Store. Office365 ProPlus is available through your campus email account.

ACCT 321 Managerial Accounting 10410 Students will be using an online homework system, McGraw-Hill Connect Accounting, and will need an access code to use that system.  The access code for Connect Accounting comes bundled with new textbooks purchased in the MSU Bookstore or it can be purchased separately online.
