The BGS degree has a flexibly scheduled, highly individualized curriculum. This degree does not restrict the student to the specialization of majors, minors, or concentrations. It allows the student to design a specialized and focused curriculum that meets their unique needs.

The following degree requirements apply:

• 128 total SH
• Completion of General Education Requirements (38 SH)
• 50 SH of 100-200 level coursework
• 40 SH of 300-400 level coursework
• 30 SH earned from MSU
• 60 SH from a four-year institution
• 2.00 cumulative grade point average
• Students pursuing a B.G.S. degree are not permitted to declare any major, minor or concentration.
