Hello, my name is Deb Townsend and I have been involved in Nursing for the past 30 years. I came to work at Minot State University in 2002. Previously I have worked as an APRN, CNS at Trinity and UniMed in Minot since 1998 and as a psychiatric nurse in the hospital since 1981. My specialty area is Psychiatric and Mental health nursing. I recently completed my PhD (2010) in nursing and did my research on quality of life as perceived by individuals with a serious mental illness living in rural environments.
